2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Salt
2 cups Sugar
1/4 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Butter 2 sticks
4 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Milk

This simple butter cake is easy to bake and makes a great little showstopper for you and your gal pals while catching up over coffee and tea. It’s so moist and buttery, you wont’t be able to stop yourself from having a second piece. It compliments almost any type of frosting but the best way to indulge is to simply have a slice on it’s own with a light dusting of powdered sugar.

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch or bundt baking pan and set aside.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Set aside

Cream together sugar and softened butter at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, until creamy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and sour cream.

Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating at low speed after each addition

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from pan.
