Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake

Take your chocolate cake to decadent new heights with the addition of cream cheese in this Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake.
There’s no doubt that chocolate cake is one of the most famous desserts on the planet. Whether you have a great go-to recipe that’s beloved by your family or love to test out new ones, you can always kick this recipe staple up a notch.
Even if you’re not a great baker and don’t have all the ingredients normally on hand for baking sweet treats and goodies and decide to go the cake box route (from scratch is always best, but shortcuts never hurt!) you can still make this cake decadent and delicious.
It’s simple, really. Once you have your cake mixed and ready to go all you do is add some slightly sweetened cream cheese and swirl it in. When it bakes the cream cheese will sink into the cake and you’ll notice it will mostly be at the top when sliced.
To make things even easier, you bake this cake in one pan! Yes, not all cakes have to be in layers. And, because this cake is already decadent with the addition of cream cheese, you don’t need those extra layers.
This also makes icing a breeze.
